What new features are available in the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

For the 2018 model year, the Chrysler Pacifica offers six trim styles: L, LX, Touring Plus, Touring, Touring L Plus, and Limited; while the Hybrid version offers three: the Touring Plus, Touring L, and Limited. The Pacifica can seat up to eight passengers, with exception to when not possessing its removable center seat or should the vehicle be equipped with the panoramic sunroof, as it sacrifices the center top-seatbelt anchor. Stow 'n Go foldable seats provide as much storage or cargo space as one could need. When second and third row seats are folded down, all 140.5 cubic feet are yours to pack up and haul large items. The floor spaces also double as hidden storage containers when the seats are up and in use. All models come standard with a six speaker sound system with Active Noise Cancelation. A Premium Package upgrades this to either a 13 Alpine speaker system or a 20 Harman Kardon speaker system. The new year of course comes with its myriad of technological upgrades and new accessories to make travel and life easy and functional. Available to add to the vehicle are adaptive cruise control, an all-around view camera, and even a built-in Stow 'n Vac for mess management. New standard driving conveniences also include a charge port, ParkSense rear-park assist, blind-spot monitoring, and rear cross-traffic alerts. The new 7- or 8.4-inch touchscreen comes with HD radio, hands free Bluetooth and Uconnect for music and phone calls, and a navigation system that can be accompanied with 4G LTE-Wi-Fi connectivity. Remodeled with sleek, smooth exterior lines mirror the design aesthetic found in Chrysler's SUVs for a trendy, modern appeal, and wheels can be upgraded to 20 inches for a more dramatic look.  Otherwise, 17-inch wheels are standard.

What are the powertrain options in the Standard and Hybrid Pacificas?

Standard 2018 Chrysler Pacifica models come with a 3.6-liter V6 engine with 287 horsepower and 262 lb-ft of torque and an improved 9-speed automatic transmission to maximize performance and fuel economy. EPA rates the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica at 18/28 mpg. This is upped by the new Hybrid models, combining pollution-free electric with a more fuel-friendly Atkinson-cycle engine to rate at a combined 84 MPGe and an impressive 566 gas/electric-mile range, making it the most fuel-efficient minivan on the market. 33 miles are available purely on its innovative eFlite single-electrically variable transmission, the 16-kWh lithium-ion (Li-ion) battery, and its two electric motors.

What safety features come with the 2018 Chrysler Pacifica?

The 2018 Chrysler Pacifica continues to deliver on the latest and greatest with more than 100 standard and available safety and security features. Coming standard are such driving aids as ParkSense rear-park assist, blind-spot monitoring and rear cross-traffic alert.
