What powers this Southwestern Luxury Work truck?
That honor belongs to an all-new 6.7L Cummins High Output Turbo Diesel I6, and there is a standard version and a high-output version. Look for 370-horsepower and 850 lb.-ft. of torque for the standard-output and 400-horsepower 1,000 lb.-ft. of torque (@ 1,800 rpm) from the high-output version! The standard turbo diesel partners to a 68RFE six-speed automatic transmission, whereas the high-output one gets in the fray with a heavy-duty Aisin 6-speed automatic transmission. Buyers can also opt for a 6.4L HEMI V8 gasoline engine combined with a fuel-efficient TorqueFlite 8-speed automatic transmission. This gas-engine will generate 410 horsepower and 429 lb.-ft. of torque, as well as uses Fuel Saver Technology to determine when to use all 8-cylinders as opposed to just 4.

Can you go through some of the interior features?
Sure we can, and with pleasure! This truck is made not only to work but also to be convenient and to just plain look good! All will enjoy the available Uconnect 4C NAV with a 12" completely-customizable screen, which includes functions such as SiriusXM 360L and the ability to run split-screen apps at the same time! There is also an obtainable 750W Harman Kardon Sound System with 17-speakers, which is the most speakers available in its class, not to humblebrag. The center console debuts with 12 varying storage possibilities, a wireless charging dock, up to five charging USB ports, and a laptop storage bin up to 12-inches deep! There is also a new instrument panel that is literally closer to the driver's view and easier to reach by the driver's hands. There is a standard 5-inch display or 8.4-inch display for the touchscreens in general, although as mentioned there is also a 12-inch version too. Newly-designed rotary knob climate controls are there, as is a standard push-button start. Owners can elect for a new, toolbox-sliding center-stack lower drawer on front seat benches, or in the Crew Cab they will acquire two covered, in-floor storage spaces called Ram Bins. In the truckbed itself, there is an available Class-Exclusive RamBox Cargo Management System of course, an option for a step up into the truckbed too. This is all in addition to having the most authentic elements within the cabin on the market today, meaning you will be surrounded by leather, steel, and wood grain galore!

Would you mention the Transfer Cases used in the 2019 Laramie Longhorn HD?
Four-wheel-drive configurations of the 2500/3500 Heavy Duty are outfitted with a BorgWarner part-time transfer case. Owners can pick either an electronic (BW 44-46) or manual shift (BW 44-47) transfer case for any engine. The transfer case has three effective ranges, 2Hi (2WD), 4Hi (4WD) and 4Lo (low-range reduction 4WD) in addition to neutral. 2Hi was created for paved roads, no matter their condition, where 4Hi & 4Lo are more focused on wet/icy roads and/or off-road scenarios. The 4Lo is excellent for pulling strength, as it enables a gear reduction ratio (or crawl ratio) of 2.64:1. The high-output variant of the Cummins 6.7L Turbo Diesel gets an all-new part-time BorgWarner transfer case (BW 44-48) made specifically for the advanced input loads for supreme towing capability (up to 35,10-lbs).
