New Turbocharged Engine for the 2023 Compass

One of the new features of the 2023 Jeep Compass is its new engine option! Under the hood sits a turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder that doles out up to 200 horses and 221 lb-ft of torque while paring with an eight-speed automatic transmission that will provide you with an impressively smooth ride both on and off the road. All trim levels of the Compass are standard with all-wheel-drive, which will tackle the weather and the ruggedness of the trails without a problem. There is a lot to love about this year's version of the Jeep Compass! 

What are Some of the Standard Features of the Compass?

Overall, five awe-inspiring trim levels are available for the Jeep Compass, and while every single one is filled with advanced features, we want to draw your attention first to the base trim Sport. This trim has 17-inch alloy wheels, LED headlights, heated mirrors, roof rails, cloth upholstery, a six-speaker sound system, and a 10.1-inch touchscreen with wireless Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. But wait, that's not all! The Compass Sport also comes standard with a 7-inch information cluster display, first and second-row USB ports, and satellite radio. If there is one thing that the Compass is known for, it's safety, as it is standard with Forward Collision Mitigation, Driver Attention Warning, Lane Departure Mitigation, and a Rear Seat Reminder system! 

What Higher Trims of the Compass Offer

As we move onto the higher trims, the next trim offered is the Latitude. It adds to what the Sport has with foglights and automatic high beams, synthetic leather upholstery inserts, a synthetic leather-wrapped steering wheel, and keyless ignition and entry. If its more luxury items you want, then let's introduce you to the Latitude Lux as it comes standard with 18-inch wheels, a remote engine start, an upgraded driver information display, which goes nicely with the heated and leather-wrapped steering wheel, a power driver's seat, and heated front seats. The Limited adds a black-painted roof, automatic wipers, windshield wiper de-icer, dual-zone climate control, and parking sensors. If you want to take your Compass far into the wilderness, then check out the Trailhawk, which has all the latest off-road features, including off-road-oriented tires, raised suspension, underbody skid plates, tow hooks, hill descent control, a unique AWD system, premium cloth and leather seats with red stitching.
