Ohio has a lot to offer all year round. The summer time brings seasonal entertainment you just have to take advantage of.  Here are 7 things to do in Ohio before the summer is over.

1.  Cedar Point well deserves to start things off. It is often included in top 10 lists of best roller coaster parks in the country and even the world.  Boasting some of the fastest, tallest, and steepest rollercoasters on record.

2.  Lake Erie Islands offers everything from fishing charters, ferry rides, light houses, and more. 6.  Checkout out the Ohio NFL teams' open practices.  August is pre-season for the NFL.  The Cincinnati Bengals announced 10 open practices until August 12. The Cleveland Browns announced 15 open practices until August 21.  A truly unique experience if you're in Ohio in August 2019. 

7.  There are a multitude or public pools, splash parks, fountains, and water parks in Ohio. Visit the Riverscape Metropark Interactive fountains in downtown Dayton. Centennial Quarry if available to the more experienced swimmers with diving platforms and depths of up to 22 ft. Surrounded by cliffs this is a more natural swimming site.  Lake Erie offers a beach experience right in Ohio.
