While in Chagrin Falls make sure you take the hike out to the Chagrin waterfall and stop by Chagrin Falls Popcorn Shop for some incredibly tasty treats.
Ohio Route 255
Head on over to Woodsfield, Ohio and follow Route 225 through Wayne National Forest and end up in Sardis, Ohio. Wayne National Forest sits along the Appalachian foothills and boasts beautiful views along with great places to fish, hike, canoe, and go bird watching.
Covered Bridge Scenic Byway
Before you leave Woodsfield make sure you check out the National Forest Covered Bridge Scenic Byway located inside Wayne National Forest. The scenic byway follows State Route 26 from Woodsfield to Marietta, Ohio. The 35-mile long self-guided tour follows the Little Muskingum River and features several covered bridges like the name suggests along with spectacular natural beauty.Â
Ohio River Scenic Byway
Start in Cincinnati and follow the 289-mile long Ohio River Scenic Byway to end up in Wheeling, Ohio. With any drive, it's not always about getting to the destination, but about the adventure, you have along the way. The route follows the Ohio River and passes by places like Historic Fort Steuben, Martius Museum of the Northwest Territory, and Shawnee State Park.Â
Hocking Hills Scenic Byway
This 30-mile long drive from Rockbridge to Logan, Ohio known as the Hocking Hills Scenic Byway offers up stunning views of pines and hemlocks and a loop around Hocking Hills State Park. While inside the park, you'll experience unique rock formations, rugged cliffs, stunning waterfalls, and lush woods. We recommend checking out Rock Cave while you're inside the park. The cave is 200-foot long, 25-foot wide, and is incredible to walk through.Â
