Previously only available with one engine, the 2023 Wagoneer is eligible for two separate engines. Standard equipment for the base-level Wagoneer trim is the 5.7L HEMI V8 engine that has been standard equipment for the Wagoneer since its introduction. The HEMI engine delivers 392 horsepower and 404 lb-ft of torque. However, the remaining trim levels swap in a 3.0L twin-turbocharged inline six-cylinder engine that delivers an impressive 420 horsepower and 468 lb-ft of torque. While increasing power, the fuel efficiency is also increased compared to the larger V8 engine thanks to the smaller engine displacement. Both engines are paired with an eight-speed automatic transmission. While rear-wheel drive is standard equipment, Quadra-Trac I, Quadra-Trac II, and Quadra-Drive II with a rear electronic limited-slip rear differential.

The Wagoneer fits in the full-size luxury SUV segment, so it can be expected that it comes with a wide range of standard and available features. The Wagoneer's base-level trim, simply referred to as Wagoneer, comes standard with eight seats in a 2+3+3 layout. Looking at the Wagoneer from the outside, you'll find features like remote proximity keyless entry, a hands-free power liftgate, 18-inch alloy wheels, remote engine start, an auto-dimming driver's side mirror, heated/power-adjustable side mirrors, full LED lighting, roof rails, and chrome surrounds on a black grille. When you get inside the Wagoneer, you'll enjoy an eclectic mix of modern technologies and classic premium materials. You'll also enjoy amenities like Alpine premium audio with nine speakers, heated/cooled front seats, three-zone automatic climate control, a 10.1-inch Uconnect 5 infotainment touchscreen, eight-way power-adjustable front seats, Capri leather-trimmed seating, and a 10.25-inch fully digital gauge cluster. With the Uconnect 5 touchscreen, you have access to integrated TomTom navigation with voice commands and live traffic updates, cordless Apple CarPlay/ Android Auto, Amazon Alexa, a 4G LTE WiFi hotspot, and much more. The Wagoneer also comes standard with a wide range of high-tech safety features, including but not limited to front/rear parking sensors, adaptive cruise control with stop and go, automatic emergency braking, blindspot monitoring, active lane management, and forward collision detection.

In addition to the new twin-turbo engine, the 2023 Wagoneer adds new available features to continue to progress. First is the all-new Carbide Edition. Based on the Series II trim level, the Carbide Edition exudes confidence with a bold, all-black appearance. The exterior features Diamond Black front and rear fascias, grille, and door flares. Meanwhile, the headlight rings, roof rails, wheels, grille rings, and door sill cladding feature Gloss Black. The blacked-out style continues to the interior with Piano Black accents, a black suede headliner, a tri-pane panoramic sunroof, and Global Black leather seating with Smoke accent stitching. The second addition to the 2023 Wagoneer lineup is the Wagoneer L. The all-new Wagoneer L stretches the original Wagoneer's overall length by twelve inches. Making room for the additional overall length is an additional seven inches to the wheelbase. This additional space gives you 44.2 cubic feet of cargo space behind the third row, which is fifteen cubic feet more than the standard Wagoneer. The added length also gives third-row passengers a roomy 42.7 inches of legroom.
